A Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessment is commonly used for those who have a vocation which requires sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods, such as performing computer work.

 

A DSE Assessment addresses causes for concern from an ergonomic perspective, observing posture, positioning and the equipment and surrounding devices to ensure movement and cognitive abilities are employed appropriately to fulfil health and productivity.

 

The design of a workstation and its adjustments should prevent RSI’s and maintain comfort efficiency. 
These Assessments can also be appropriately adapted for any ergonomic environment. This may include functional ergonomics, vehicle assessments or specific observations of one-off activities.
